Catherine Hemmerling's first book (from Entangled Publishing's Scandalous line) is out and available for purchase!
It is the first in the Lady Lancaster Garden Society historical romance / mystery series.
The series is inspired by a combination of Jane Austen, Nancy Drew mysteries, and Regency London history.
The basic premise for the series is a group of high-society debutantes (the Garden Society) who solve mysteries, murders, and machinations under the guidance of the dowager Duchess of Lancaster and fall in love along the way. One major plot point in each book will involve an actual historic event from the Regency Period. This book is based on the Custom House Fire of 1814. All the books in the series will show a historically accurate depiction of the location, time period, and the historic event; however, the main appeal is the story and especially the characters.
The first book is Hannah's (stay tuned for Rose, Hope, Sarah, Emily, and more).
Fall in love with Hannah and her story starting Dec 3rd, when the book is released digitally (through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other fine digital book providers).
